Dutch Championship Indoor Drone Race



As part of Rotterdam Games Week, The Drone Racing Federation (TDRF) and Rotterdam Ahoy have joined forces and are organizing the Dutch Championship Indoor Drone Race from 18 to 20 October. Based on the rules of the FAI (Fédération Aéronautique Internationale), four pilots compete against each other in Ahoy on an indoor course with obstacles. Visitors of the esports & gaming festival DreamHack Rotterdam can visit the Dutch Championship free of charge.


In Rotterdam Ahoy, drone race pilots compete for the title of Dutch Champion Indoor Drone Race. Pilots who want to compete for the title can register for this at TDRF via this link. The qualifications will take place on October 18th and 19th. The finale will take place on October 20th. All under the guidance of an expert jury and competition management.


An indoor race requires agility and skills from the drivers. Due to the compact environment and obstacles, it requires the utmost concentration of the pilot to complete the race in a a fast time. Four pilots compete against each other at speeds of more than 100 km per hour.
